Any veteran of the United States Armed Forces, living or dead, who is or was a resident of El Dorado County and all veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who are or were related to a resident of El Dorado County (regardless of where the veteran previously resided) may be memorialized at the El Dorado County Veterans Monument in Placerville.
Purchasing a perpetual memorial brick or granite stone is a wonderful gift that recognizes a veteran’s service to our nation. It also provides a place for family and friends to gather and remember the veteran.
Proceeds from memorial bricks and stones benefit the El Dorado County Veterans Coalition, a 501.c public benefit organization that provides scholarships for El Dorado County veterans and their families.
This program is administered by Friends of the Veterans Monument (aka El Dorado County Veterans Alliance) which is a 501.c (3) charitable non-profit organization.
